Help Welcome the Orcas 2025

Welcome the Orcas is a series of events to celebrate the seasonal return of the endangered southern residents to central Puget Sound. Events include a writing contest where participants can write poems or their orca stories for chances to win prizes, eating a breakfast of black and white pancakes at Arthur’s restaurant in Seattle, and visiting stores in West Seattle to collect pod passport stamps. The Whale Trail has been hosting events to Welcome the Orcas since 2010!
